Family and Student Services

The OMS PTA offers a wide variety of student and family services and programs to advocate for and facilitate growth of our student body.

By providing these programs and services to our students and their families, it is our goal to fulfill the mission of the PTA of Every Child. One Voice.

Birthday Books

The Olive-Mary Stitt PTA celebrates each Olive student on their birthday by allowing them to pick out a book of their choice as a gift. The Birthday Books Committee orders books and keeps the book rack in the main office stocked with a selection of various reading levels, literary genres and subjects that are of interest to the students. We hope to encourage an enthusiasm of reading for fun.

New Family Mentoring

Our goal is to connect new Olive families that are entering grades 1-5 with existing Olive families to provide support, answer questions, and be a friendly new face at Olive. We host a summer playdate and a New Mentor Family night each year, where these families can connect.

Staff Appreciation

Typically the first week in May, we as a PTA like to show our appreciation to an amazing staff with days of providing different food and activities. We culminate the week on Friday with a catered luncheon that the whole staff gets to sit and enjoy together in the gym.
