AmazonSmile – Please consider supporting the PTA and start shopping at www.Smile.Amazon.com and .5% of your purchases will be contributed to the Olive-Mary Stitt PTA. AmazonSmile offers the same selection and same prices as Amazon.com, so there is no cost to you, and a charitable donation to the PTA is made! AmazonPrime benefits apply. To sign up, it is simple! Log on to Smile.Amazon.com, select “Illinois Congress of Parents and Teachers Olive-Mary Stitt PTA Inc” under charitable organization. Contact Becky Hany or Stacy Esposito for information.
Box Tops/Labels for Education – We collect eligible box tops and labels for education in order to raise funds for the PTA and purchase merchandise for the school. We run two class by class challenges each year (October and February). The classes with the highest point total get to select a prize or reward for their class. A number of volunteers trim, sort and count the box tops and labels and we submit them for cash and points. Contact Gina Groberski for information.
Progressive Dinner – This annual fundraiser is held on a Saturday evening in October. At this event you will enjoy food and drinks at the homes of fellow OMS parents. It’s a great opportunity to meet new OMS families and reconnect with the people you already know. On the evening of the event, you will receive your house assignments for the Dinner course that you will be at for 2 hours; and for the Dessert course that you will be at for the remaining 2 hours of the event. Thanks to the generosity of the volunteer hosts and hostesses, all proceeds from this event go to the Olive Mary-Stitt PTA. Contact Jen Ortman or Angie Frye for information.
Spirit Wear – Every fall our PTA sells Olive spirit wear. The sale begins the first week of school, ending a few weeks later. There are a variety of items for sale, from sweatshirts to t-shirts to pants, all with an Olive school logo on them. Each year new items are chosen to keep your spirit wear new and up to date. The sale is online only but samples are on display at Olive for help with sizing. Contact Becky Hany or Stacey Esposito for information.
