Halloween Parties!

Halloween Parties
It’s that time of year to start getting ready for the OMS Halloween Classroom Parties.

The room reps are hard at work planning a great party for the kids. Look for the sign up genius link your room reps will be emailing to make your classroom party a success! You can also find your classroom sign up genius link once it’s available on the Olive PTA website under the “Volunteer” tab.

If you have not volunteered at school yet this year, please stop in the office to fill out a volunteer form. Once again, we will have a Halloween volunteer list that the office will use to print out the badges. If you are not on the office list, you will not be able to enter the building or classroom party.

Have a SPOOKtacular Party!!!

World of Work Comes to OMS Spring 2018

We are so excited to announce that “World of Work” comes to Olive-Mary Stitt spring 2018. The purpose of “World of Work” program is to provide the 5th grade students an opportunity for a “real world” work experience. This program would afford the 5th grade children to see the value hard work in different business settings. It would also allow them a window into the many steps involved in career aspirations. We will partner with local businesses and companies for the children to job shadow a few hours. Children will learn about career paths, job requirements, education and the importance of goals. The program will include a introduction to resume writing, beginner interviewing skills and a brown bag business lunch. This program must have enough chaperones to take flight, consider volunteering for “World of Work” PTA Program spring 2018.
