Last week, your Ecology Club spoke to the OMS students during lunch about the importance of recycling at school and at home. They showed the students how to prepare a totally waste-free lunch using a lunch box, cloth napkin, canteen and reusable containers. Finally, they dedicated a Tree of Life to celebrate America Recycles Day on November 15th! This tree, made of re-purposed cardboard paper rings, hangs in the Commons as a reminder to strive for reusing materials, rather than just throwing them out!
